At LCA, our children learn in a collaborative studio of multi-age learners. Our flexible approach challenges each student with their own differentiated learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences. Our Learner Driven Community puts children at the center of their learning, allowing them to create and maintain personal goals and relational covenants, as they Learn to Learn, Learn to Do, and Learn to Be.......
We believe that students learn best when they have the opportunity to use their minds to solve problems, create solutions, & collaborate with peers to make the world a better place.
Our unique approach of blending social & emotional learning with problem-solving & critical thinking gives our students the capacity to think about systems, contexts, & their learning from multiple perspectives. Students begin every lesson with WHY-WHY are we learning about this.

Our Coaches ignite & protect the innate curiosity that allows kids to find joy in the art of learning throughout their lives. Lectures are replaced by project plans. We are comfortable with complexity & find joy in questioning & exploration; in investigating the vastness of our intellectual curiosity. We encourage a limitless pursue of knowledge & meaning.
We believe that emotional intelligence & resiliency can be nurtured & that they enhance physical & mental health, social functioning, collaboration, & learning capacity. Mindfulness is weaved in our schedule so that it immerses students in real-life situations in ways that allow them grow the skills needed to make a difference in the world.
We guide students to develop personal virtues such as honesty, hard work, responsibility, kindness and empathy.
Since joining LCA, my daughter has been more confident than ever. She absolutely loves it. She's so much more inspired to learn and has even been more responsible at home. The significant change that I've seen in her in such a short time at LCA is incredible.
I wasn't going to remove her from public school until the fall but God said, "NOW!" I obeyed and things started to blossom in my daughters life. Not only hers, but mine as well. I can truly say our relationship has been better too! LCA has been a blessing to my family as it will to yours!
